Vivek is the Founder of AccelTree and its Chairman and Managing Director. A pioneering techpreneur, he has many industry firsts to his credit, including the earliest loan origination solution, the first fully integrated Point of Sale solution for insurance, and the game-changing, patented Remote Agent capability for the insurance and banking sectors. His vision is insurance for all, enabled through leading Insurtech.

Vivek is an alumnus of IIT Kanpur. He began his engineering career with the TATA Group, where he spent 14 years and developed TurboAnalyst, India's first packaged software product, introduced in 1988.

After two years of consulting in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, he co-founded Indus Software, which became a leader in retail lending solutions with deployments across more than 20 countries. He led the company for 12 years before turning his focus to mobility software.

Vivek founded AccelTree in 2002. Recognizing the transformative potential of mobile technology as early as 2005, he and his core team developed a Mobile Enterprise Application Platform that significantly simplified the development and deployment of enterprise mobile solutions. This early innovation laid the foundation for AccelTree's leadership in the rapidly evolving insurance technology space.

Over the years, Vivek has led organizations recognized for innovation in enterprise software. In 1997, he introduced the world's first internet-based loan processing system in Orlando. In 2005, his work in mobile frameworks was recognized by NASSCOM, and later that year he addressed an international conference in China on rural banking, with a focus on the use of mobile phones in microfinance.

In 2010, Vivek led the development of one of the first tablet-based mobile solutions for life insurance sales, covering the complete insurance sales lifecycle. Under his leadership, AccelTree's technology stack expanded to include Stallion™, a device-side framework for its digital solutions, along with an instant underwriting tool for tablets that can be configured using existing underwriting rules.
