This system enables a service engineer or technician to be connected
to an existing back-end service system on-line to pick service requests,
update action taken and planned for the future, view equipment service
history and check on spare parts.
Benefits
- The company’s Customer Service department gets to know the status
of any and all service requests practically in real-time, instead of
waiting for someone at the service centre to update it in the system.
- MIS on customer service is available on-line.
- The service engineer has all information regarding the equipment and
its service history at his finger-tips and thus has a higher probability
of rectifying the fault faster.
- If spares are not available, the service engineer can check availability
in the warehouse and even place an indent for the spares. Thus the customer
can be informed of the next action and the time it will take to repair,
more accurately – Resulting in greater customer satisfaction.
